Again, Ado Odo Ota local government ignored as Ogun state goverment approves construction of three new roads

 Ogun state goverment once again ignored Ado Odo Ota local government in the area of road construction as  the State Executive Council Meeting yesterday,  approved construction of three roads in the State. These are the 4.65km Akute-Denro-Ishasi and 2.3km Olusegun Osoba Twiney roads in Ogun Central. The third is the 2.3km 6-lane Molipa Expressway in Ogun East. According to the state governor, Dapo Abiodun who said the goal of the project is to ensure safe road travel for the people. The governor gave assurance that construction works will begin immediately and subsequently extend to other roads in need of similar attention. The governor also  appealed  to the people   of Ogun State, especially residents of these areas as well as those roads that  are currently construction in areas  such as the Panseke-Adigbe Road, to bear with the government considering the difficulties occasioned by the rainy season. 

FRAUDSTER ELOPES AFTER DUPING INVESTORS OF OVER N3OM!

  A scammer simply identified as Mr. Oyebanji has duped hundreds of investors into his fluke farming investment project to the tune of over thirty million naira(N30m) and disappeared into thin air. The fraudster who claimed to be the Chief Executive Officer of one Macnuel Productions Limited (MPL), a farming Investment Company with registration number, RC: 746937 and Head Office at 162, Halpina, Garki road, Abuja, opened a branch office at Shop 10, Pako Shopping Complex, Candos road, Baruwa-Ipaja in Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, where he perfected his fraudulent activities within one month. It was gathered that the scammer who has been declared wanted by the Ipaja Police Division (Alagolo), Ipaja where the incident was reported, successfully lured unsuspecting market men and women as well as traders and artisans to invest as low as N10,000 and as high as N1Million to partner in his farming project where they could earn continuous return of 25% plus 5% for the referrer every eight days. Police arrest man for slitting pregnant wife’s belly to confirm baby’s gender

 A man has been arrested in northern India after slashing his pregnant wife’s stomach with a sickle, leaving her critically ill and causing the death of their unborn baby boy, police and her relatives said. The woman was in intensive care in a hospital in the capital, New Delhi, said police in Budaun district in northern Uttar Pradesh state, following Saturday’s attack. According to Nypost, her brother said the attack took place because the husband wanted to know the baby’s gender. The couple already had five daughters. “He attacked her with a sickle and ripped her stomach saying that he wanted to check the gender of the unborn child,” the woman’s brother, Golu Singh, told the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Police said the baby was stillborn late on Sunday and a man had been remanded in custody. Atiku, family not under US surveillance, says aide

 The Media Office of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday dismissed reports that the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Candidate in the 2019 General Elections and members of his family were under surveillance by the United States of America . Media reports had stated that the former presidential candidate and his wives were placed under international banking surveillance for suspicious financial dealings. NUC issues new directives on reopening of varsities

 The National Universities Commission has released new directives to vice chancellors of Nigerian for safe reopening of universities . The NUC directive was contained in a memo addressed to the vice chancellors , signed by the Director , Directorate of the Executive Secretary ’s Office , Chris Maiyaki , on Tuesday . The commission directed universities to conclude their resumption arrangements in line with the guidelines of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control. The memo reads parly , “ Universities should expect inspection visits from staffs of the commission and the Ministry of Education for on -the- spot inspections of physical facilities such as the lecture theatres , accommodation , healthcare facilities . “ Universities must continue to adhere to the safety protocols and the NCDC guidelines which are very much in force .” The commission warned Universities not to violate the full cycle of the semester system , consistent with NUC approved ‘ Benchmark Minimum Academic Standa...

CREATE MINISTRY OF TRADITIONAL AFFAIRS, TRADITIONALIST URGE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

A traditionalist, Chief Ifadamilare Ifapohunda Eyinju Eledunmare has urged the Federal government to create ministry of traditional affairs in order to further help government move towards the right direction in moving the country forward.  The traditionalist who is the founder of Egbe Ajigbare Ayoni traditional temple made this statement during the traditional initiation of some members into the temple. He said the government effort in fighting corruption failed because most politicians involved in corruption do not fear the holy book which they swear to in the court of law. FORMER EKITI GOVERNOR, AYODELE FAYOSE LOSES ELDER SISTER.

 Former ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose took to twitter over the weekend to announce the death of his elder sister late Mrs Moji Ladeji. Fayose who made the announcement On behalf of the family stated that  Mrs Ladeji died on sunday 20th september 2020 after a brief illness expressed pain about the passing away of his sister.

An ex-Police officer, Chief Joseph Ayodele, has debunked rumours spreading across the the media organisations that he has been declared wanted by Nigeria Police, describing him as a leader of land grabber syndicate in Ogun State. AGAIN, OLU BLOCK FOUNDATION FEEDS HUNDREDS OF WIDOWS IN ADO ODO OTA LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

  Olu block foundation, a foundation which was established to touch the lives of the needy in Ado Odo Ota Local Government has once again touched the lives of hundreds of widows in Ota community and it environs today 17 September 2020. In a very brief ceremony, held at No 6 Aiyetoro street, Mupin Ota Ogun state Nigeria which is the temporary site of the foundation, the event which kicked off at 11:25am lasted for just 30minutes.  The founder of the foundation, High chief Ibrahim Fayomi who also doubles as the Otunba Apagunpote of Ijebu land, while addressing the overwhelmed widows explained that the foundation was established in order to touch lives with the little resources available. ARABIC TEACHER, ONE OTHER ARRESTED FOR DEFILING A FIFTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL

 An  Arabic and Islamic teacher Ismaila Saheed 38 yrs and one Toliha Sabith 20yrs have been arrested by men of Ogun State Police Command for defiling a 15yr old girl (name withheld). The suspects were apprehended following a report by the victim of their devilish act who reported at Redeemed Camp police station that Toliha Sabith forcefully had carnal knowledge of her on the 25th of August 2020 at Imedu_nla area of Mowe and she went to her Arabic and Islamic teacher to inform him. Having listening to her ordeal, the Arabic teacher Ismaila Saheed told her  that she might have got pregnant as a result of the incident and he offered to help her remove the said pregnancy. But surprisingly, instead of removing the imaginary pregnancy, he took the advantage to also had carnal knowledge of her, after which he inserted a sharp object into her private part causing her a serious vaginal injury.
