FAYOMI FAMILY ANNOUNCES 13TH REMEMBRANCE SERVICE FOR LATE DR. FESTUS OLUSEGUN FAYOMI

The Fayomi family has announced plans to hold a remembrance service to mark the 13th anniversary of the passing of Dr. Festus Olusegun Fayomi, a renowned security expert and founder of Olu Golden Guard Security and Gadgets. The service will take place on _Saturday, July 6, 2024_ at CCC El Morijah Parish, Ijaba, Ota, Ogun State, a church founded by the late Dr. Fayomi. The service will start by _10:00 am_ and will be followed by a reception at his residence in Jackross bus stop, Iyesi, Ota, Ogun State. Dr. Fayomi, a respected figure in the community known for his principles, courage, and contributions to security and community development, was born on July 7th, 1949, and passed away on July 6th, 2011 His son, Chief Comrade Ibrahim Fayomi (Olumako), who manages the security company, described his father as a "man of great vision and impact" who will be deeply remembered. POLICE ARREST MAN FOR KILLING HIS MOTHER IN -LAW IN OGUN.

 A 28yrs old man, Opeyemi Adeola Ganiyu, was on the 3rd of May 2021 arrested by men of Ogun state police command for killing his mother in law, Abosede Oyewole.  The suspect was arrested following a report made at Atan ota divisional headquarters by one Odunayo Mathew, who reported that the suspect, who is married to the daughter of the deceased, is fond of beating his wife on slight provocation. On the fateful day, the suspect, as usual, beaten up his wife and inflicted injuries on her, and that is the reason why the deceased went to meet him in order to warn him to desist from beating her daughter.  On sighting the deceased in his house, the suspect descended heavily on her, beat her mercilessly before stabbing her on her ribs with a knife.  The deceased was rushed to an hospital for treatment, but gave up the ghost in the process.  Having heard that the victim has died, the suspect took to flight. GAME OVER AS POLICE NABS TWO ROBBERY SUSPECTS IN AKUTE.

Two armed robbery suspects, were on Sunday 2nd of May 2021 arrested by men of Ogun state police command at Olambe area of Akute, in Ifo local government area of Ogun state.  The two suspects, Lukman Olanrewaju 27yrs and Shola Alabi 28yrs, were arrested following a distress call received by the Dpo Ajuwon divisional headquarters, SP Andrew Akinseye at about 5pm of the date, that a three man armed robbery gang were operating at Olambe area, and that they have shot one commercial motorcyclist who was later identified as Anas Usman and snatched his motorcycle.  Upon the distress call, the Dpo led his men to the scene, and with collaboration of the so safe corps, two amongst the robbers were subsequently arrested.  Recovered from them are, one cut to size locally made gun, two live cartridges and the snatched motorcycle.  The victim was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment, while effort is on top gear to apprehend the remaining member of the gang.  Meanwhile, ...

OGSIEC SEEKS POLICE SUPPORT TO CONDUCT FREE AND FAIR LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION.

  The Ogun state Independent Electoral Commission, on Tuesday 4th of May 2021, sought for support of the state police command as it prepares for the forthcoming local government election, scheduled to hold on the 24th of July 2021. The call was made, when the commission paid courtesy visit to the commissioner of police, cp Edward Awolowo Ajogun in his office, at Eleweran Abeokuta.  Speaking through its chairman, Babatunde Osibodu, the OGSIEC acknowledged the fact that police been the lead agency in internal security, has a key role to play in conduct of any election. The chairman noted further that, the commission can not conduct any successful election without the support of the police because, the protection of election materials, as well as the electoral officers is the sole responsibility of the police. POLICE ARREST MAN WHO DEFILED HIS BIOLOGICAL DAUGHTERS IN OGUN.

 A 52 yrs old man, Kayode Adeniyi of no 12 Abere ifa street, Ijoko, has been arrested by men of Ogun state police command, for unlawfully having carnal knowledge of a 10 years old girl (named withheld). The suspect was arrested, following a report lodged at Agbado divisional headquarters by the aunty of the victim, who came to the station with the victim and reported that, while her niece went to the apartment of the suspect to ask whether his daughter was the person who mistakenly removed the clothes she spread outside, the suspect forcefully dragged her into the room, covered her mouth with pillow and had sexual intercourse with her. Bribery: Faces Of Police Officers Who Collected Bribe At Gun Point Revealed.

Ogun state police command have finally revealed the identity of three mobile policemen who at gun point forced a student of Lagos state university to withdraw the sum of #150,000.  The bribery allegation against the policemen which went viral on social media caught attention of the Commissioner of Police, Ogun state police Command who ordered that the policemen be identified.  According to source, the three policemen have now been dismissed after facing orderly room trial and their identity made known. 

OGUN CP ORDERS ARREST OF THREE POLICEMEN FOR EXTORTION.

  The commissioner of police Ogun state police command CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun has ordered the immediate arrest of three mobile policemen who were alleged to have extorted the sum of  one hundred and fifty three thousand (#153,000 ) from one Sheriff Adedigba, a student of Lagos state university.  The three policemen namely:Inspector Sunday John, Sgt. Jimoh Asimiya and Sgt. Solomon Adedapo were alleged to have forcefully extorted the said amount of money from the complainant while he was traveling from Abeokuta to Lagos.  Having heard about the incident on social media, the commissioner of police directed the Dpo Owode Egba division whose jurisdiction the incident happened to fish out the erring officers with immediate effect.  The three officers were quickly identified and apprehended. FOUR BURGLARS WHO BULGED PHONE SHOP IN OSUN ARRESTED IN OGUN.

Men of Ogun State Police Command on the 21st of April 2021 arrested four suspects who burgled a phone accessory shop in Ile Ife Osun state and ran to hibernate in Ogun state.  The suspects; Nura Bashir, 20yrs, Awalu Aliyu m' 38yrs, Shuaibu Abdul Rasheed m' 25yrs and Abdullah Usman m' 23yrs were arrested following a report by one Gbenga Siyanbola, who reported at Mowe police station that, while he was coming from Osun state going to Lagos, his vehicle developed a mechanical fault somewhere in Mowe. While trying to rectify the fault, the four men suddenly appeared from nowhere and robbed him of his Samsung phone.  Upon the report, the Dpo Mowe division CSP Marvis Jayeola detailed his detectives to go after the hoodlums.                              A 40yr old house wife Iswat Taofeek a resident of No36 Isoka Kugba Abeokuta has been arrested by men of Ogun State Police Command for dehumanizing a 12yr old boy living with her. The suspect was arrested at about 8:30am on Monday 23rd of November following a complaint by one of her neighbors who came to Adatan police station with the little boy whose body was full of injuries inflicted on him with a hot knife and cutlass. ROBBER ARRESTED WITH SNATCHED VEHICLE.

  A member of an armed robbery gang Alo Monday was on Friday 20th of November 2020 arrested by men of Ogun state police command with a Toyota Camry car snatched from one of their robbery victim . The suspect an indigene of Ebonyi state was arrested following a distress call received by police at shagamu division at about 8: 30 pm that armed robbers were operating along shagamu/ Ikenne road.Upon the distress call, the Dpo shagamu division sp okiki Agunbiade mobilized his patrol team and moved to the scene. Deworming drugs not poisonous Ogun health commissioner

  Ogun state health official says that th  deworming drugs being administered on school-age children in 14 local government areas in the state are in no way poisonous. The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, who made this known in the ...wake of the news making rounds that two school  children in Abeokuta died from complications occasioned by the drugs, said the same drug was administered on her alongside other top government functionaries at the flag-off of the exercise. She said that the drugs were administered on 249 pupils of the said school out of which two children who lived within the  same compound were said to be  stooling and vomiting on getting home.
