According to a statement released by the chairman of this year harvest committee,Prince Adeleke Daramola, he stated that though the harvest would not have been been possible due to covid-19 outbreak. 40 YR OLD WOMAN IN POLICE NET FOR DEHUMANIZING A 12YR OLD BOY.

                             A 40yr old house wife Iswat Taofeek a resident of No36 Isoka Kugba Abeokuta has been arrested by men of Ogun State Police Command for dehumanizing a 12yr old boy living with her. The suspect was arrested at about 8:30am on Monday 23rd of November following a complaint by one of her neighbors who came to Adatan police station with the little boy whose body was full of injuries inflicted on him with a hot knife and cutlass. ROBBER ARRESTED WITH SNATCHED VEHICLE.

  A member of an armed robbery gang Alo Monday was on Friday 20th of November 2020 arrested by men of Ogun state police command with a Toyota Camry car snatched from one of their robbery victim . The suspect an indigene of Ebonyi state was arrested following a distress call received by police at shagamu division at about 8: 30 pm that armed robbers were operating along shagamu/ Ikenne road.Upon the distress call, the Dpo shagamu division sp okiki Agunbiade mobilized his patrol team and moved to the scene. On sighting the policemen, the robbers quickly jumped into an already snatched unregistered Toyota Camry also known as "muscle" and started driving towards Lagos/shagamu interchange. They were hotly chased by the policemen consequent upon which they abandoned the car and ran into the bush. Deworming drugs not poisonous Ogun health commissioner

  Ogun state health official says that th  deworming drugs being administered on school-age children in 14 local government areas in the state are in no way poisonous. The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, who made this known in the ...wake of the news making rounds that two school  children in Abeokuta died from complications occasioned by the drugs, said the same drug was administered on her alongside other top government functionaries at the flag-off of the exercise. OGUN TO HOST MAIDEN EDITION OF TEACHERS FEST

  The Ogun State Government, in collaboration with Orange Card, is planning to host maiden edition Teachers Fest in the State, in order to inculcate and impact Information, Communication Technology (ICT) on wards at the early stage.  It will also contain the training of teachers on Information Communication Technology (ICT), so as to enhance a better training/teaching of wards in the course of their job.   Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has been awarded 2020 best Governor on education in Nigeria by the National Parents' Teachers Association, for his landmark achievements in the education sector. The monarch said this at the inauguration of parks executives, Yewa/Awori zone of the union of tipper and quarry of Nigeria, Ogun state chapter. The monarch in his speech said in as much as he would love to associate with the union, failure to properly maintain their tippers has been one of the critical issue he has always considered.   Former Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has used the occasion of his 60th birthday to forgive all those who might have betrayed him in the course of his political journey, especially after he left office in 2018. THREE ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS ARRESTED AT THE SCENE OF ROBBERY.

  Men of Ogun state police command on 12th of November 2020 apprehended three members of robbery gang who have been terrorizing Iju ota and its environs for quite some time.  The suspects Bamidele Oluwashina, m' 31, Adebowale  Kehinde m' 32 and Oluwasegun Abayomi were arrested following a distress call received by the police at Onipanu divisional headquarters at about 9:30 pm that robbers have invaded Iju love bus stop and tipper garage wielding dangerous weapons and dispossessing people of their valuables.  Upon the distress call, the  Dpo Onipanu division CSP Bamidele Ishola Job mobilized his patrol team to the scene and engaged the robbers in gun duel. 70 YEAR OLD GRANDPA ARRESTED FOR IMPREGNATING HIS 15YR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER

A 70yr old man Hunsu Sunday was on the 10th of November 2020 arrested by men of Ogun State Police Command for defiling his 15 yr old granddaughter (name withheld) and subsequently impregnating her. The suspect was apprehended following a complain lodged at Ado_ odo divisional headquarters by the aunty of the victim who reported that the victim has been living with her grandfather since the demise of her mother. She stated further that the victim came to inform her that her grandfather has being abusing her sexually for quite some time and she has been having strange feeling on her recently. 29 YR OLD TEACHER ARRESTED FOR KIDNAPPING HIS 8YR OLD EX PUPIL

  A 29yr old teacher Odugbesan Ayodele Samson has been arrested by men of Ogun State Police Command for kidnapping his 8yr old former pupil Rasaq Akeeb on the 4th of November 2020.         The suspect was arrested following a complain lodged at Ajuwon divisional headquarters by the mother of the victim one Fatimat Akeeb who reported that her son went to school at Arifanla area of Akute but is yet to return at about 6pm only for her to receive a phone call from an unknown person who asked her to be ready to pay the sum of 200, 000 if she wishes to see her son alive.        An armed robbery suspect was on early hour of Monday 9th of November 2020 shot dead by men of Ogun State Police Command while others escaped with gun shot injuries.        This followed a distress call received by police at ikenne divisional headquarters at about 5 00 am. that a group of armed robbers had blocked road along Olabiro street in ikenne and dispossessing people of their valuables at gun point.      Upon the distress call, the DPO Ikenne division CSP Noukauba Onuma quickly mobilised his patrol team and moved to the scene, on sighting the policemen, the hoodlums engaged them in gun battle which lasted for about 30 minutes at the end of which one of the hoodlums was shot dead while others escaped with various degree of gun shot injuries       Recovered from the dead robber are; one cut to size locally made gun, one live cartridge and one expended cartridge.       Meanwhile, the commissio...
