This unwholesome activity has not only made a mockery of government effort to ensure and guarantee the safety of all road users, particularly pedestrians, and an ugly sight to intending commercial, as well as, industrial visitors and tourists to the state, but has also become a nuisance and a harmful disposition to road users. Ogun state police command have finally revealed the identity of three mobile policemen who at gun point forced a student of Lagos state university to withdraw the sum of #150,000.  The bribery allegation against the policemen which went viral on social media caught attention of the Commissioner of Police, Ogun state police Command who ordered that the policemen be identified.  According to source, the three policemen have now been dismissed after facing orderly room trial and their identity made known. 

  The commissioner of police Ogun state police command CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun has ordered the immediate arrest of three mobile policemen who were alleged to have extorted the sum of  one hundred and fifty three thousand (#153,000 ) from one Sheriff Adedigba, a student of Lagos state university.  The three policemen namely:Inspector Sunday John, Sgt. Jimoh Asimiya and Sgt. Solomon Adedapo were alleged to have forcefully extorted the said amount of money from the complainant while he was traveling from Abeokuta to Lagos.  Having heard about the incident on social media, the commissioner of police directed the Dpo Owode Egba division whose jurisdiction the incident happened to fish out the erring officers with immediate effect.  The three officers were quickly identified and apprehended. Men of Ogun State Police Command on the 21st of April 2021 arrested four suspects who burgled a phone accessory shop in Ile Ife Osun state and ran to hibernate in Ogun state.  The suspects; Nura Bashir, 20yrs, Awalu Aliyu m' 38yrs, Shuaibu Abdul Rasheed m' 25yrs and Abdullah Usman m' 23yrs were arrested following a report by one Gbenga Siyanbola, who reported at Mowe police station that, while he was coming from Osun state going to Lagos, his vehicle developed a mechanical fault somewhere in Mowe. While trying to rectify the fault, the four men suddenly appeared from nowhere and robbed him of his Samsung phone.  Upon the report, the Dpo Mowe division CSP Marvis Jayeola detailed his detectives to go after the hoodlums. The Elegushi of Egushi Ota kingdom, Oba Maroof Adio Alagbe has said he is now better positioned in resolving community dispute. While granting interview to news men in his palace on Thursday 22nd April 2021 after a four days intensive training on (ADR). The monarch said this was made possible after undergoing a four day rigorous training on alternative dispute resolution (ADR).  The training was organized by the palace of the paramount ruler of Awori Kingdom, under the leadership of Olota of Ota kingdom, Oba professor Abdul-Kabir Adeyemi Obalanlege.
