AKOWONWADO DESCENDANTS ACCUSE INTRUDERS OF HIRING THUGS TO UNLEASH TERROR ON RESIDENTS OF OKO OMI AND ENVIRONS

 The family of Akowonwado has debunked rumor of hiring land grabbers to unleash terror on Ilasa Oko omi Okikilu illogbo, oreonitan saari, Okikilu, Erinle and akinleye villages in Ado Odo Ota local government of Ogun state. According to a statement released by the head of  Akonwonwado family, chief Solomon Adisa Oyetola, he said all the villages mentioned are owned and controlled by them. 

Chief Solomon explained that some persons who claimed to be part of the family hired thugs to encroach on our land and began to sell land illegally to unknown persons. 

Chief Solomon further stated that notice had been given to those who bought the land to quit immediately or show receipt of purchase of such land. 

We have judgement up to supreme court level on the said land. How can the family who has the legitimate authority over a land hire land grabbers? That is not possible. It is they who has nothing on the land who are hiring thugs to unleash terror on peaceful residents of Oko omi and it environs said chief Solomon. 

One of the family members who is also the traditional ruler of Okikilu kingdom, H.R.H Jonson Adeleye explained to our correspondent that they got supreme court judgment over the said land on 21st of may 2004 with suit number SC/259/2004 and that the intruders with their thugs have sold over 50 acres of lands illegally to people claiming they are part of our family. Let them show prove of how they are related to Akonwondo family or bring out document of entitlement on the land they are selling illegally. 

We have told people who bought such land from them to present receipt of purchase.

  Saturday 22nd August Menu EFCC Arraigns Man for N17.5m Land Scam in Port Harcourt The Port Harcourt  zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arraigned one Kingsley Odum before Justice I. M. Sani of the Federal High Court, Port Harcourt, Rivers State for land fraud. OLUWO IFADAMILARE EYINJU ELEDUMARE CONFERRED WITH MAYEGUN ONISESE ISEMBAYE TILTLE
